Mouse movements, clicks, wheel events, keyboard events, and the results displayed by the testing tools are processed by JavaScript in your browser. The tools do not intentionally send the content of those test interactions to a Best Mouse Tester application server.

This does not mean the entire website operates without network requests. Pages, fonts, analytics, advertisements, and embedded content can contact the providers described below.

The speed test stores a best CPS value in local storage. The latency test stores a best value and recent results. When you choose Save local report, the site stores a versioned summary and limited observations for up to 20 recent reports in this browser. Reports exclude raw typed text, key sequences, complete pointer trails, personal identity, and advertising or analytics identifiers.

This information remains in that browser profile unless you delete reports, clear site data, use private browsing, or the browser removes it. Local storage is not account or server synchronization, and anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to view it.

The site loads an Umami analytics script from umami.tsrenjian.com to understand page usage and identify technical or content problems. That service may receive ordinary request information such as IP address, browser details, page URL, referrer, and timestamps according to its configuration and server logs.

The site uses Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers, IP address, browser information, page activity, and consent signals to deliver, limit, measure, and protect advertising, subject to Google's policies and the choices available in your region.

You can restrict or clear cookies and site storage through browser settings. Blocking scripts or storage may affect analytics, advertising, embedded content, or saved best scores, while the core input checks may still work.

Hosting, content-delivery, DNS, and security providers such as Cloudflare may process standard connection and security-log information needed to deliver and protect the site.

The Games page embeds Coreball from cpstest.click. Opening that page allows the embedded provider to receive a network request and potentially use its own storage, analytics, or advertising. Best Mouse Tester does not control that provider's availability or data practices.

Following any external link takes you to a service governed by its own privacy policy.

If you email [email protected], the email provider processes your address, message, attachments, and delivery metadata so the message can be received and answered. Do not include passwords, account credentials, serial numbers, or unnecessary sensitive information.

The site does not currently provide user accounts or an on-page contact form.

You can use browser controls to block or delete cookies and local storage, disable third-party scripts, or use content-blocking features. Google also provides advertising controls through its own services.
